Parkdoku Privacy Policy

Last updated: 7 November 2026

This policy explains what information the Parkdoku mobile game for iOS and Android collects, why, and what choices you have. Parkdoku is free to play, shows ads, and offers an optional “Remove ads” purchase.

In short

  • There is no account or sign-in. The app never asks for your name, email address or similar details.
  • Your progress and settings stay on your device.
  • Ads come from our ad partner Unity Ads, through Unity LevelPlay.
  • The Meta (Facebook) SDK tells us whether an install came from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram.
  • In the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom (UK) and Switzerland, a consent form asks for your choices before any ad is requested or any install measurement is sent.
  • On iPhone, your advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking.
  • You can switch off analytics, including install measurement, in the app’s Settings at any time.

Who we are

Parkdoku is published by YUMO Teknoloji Limited Şirketi, Cevizli Mah. Zuhal Cad. A Blok No: 46 İç Kapı No: 50, Maltepe/İstanbul, Türkiye, which is the data controller for the processing described here. For questions and requests, write to [email protected].

Data kept on your device

Your level progress (including a lot you are halfway through), hints used, settings (sound, vibration, reduced motion, your analytics choice) and whether you own “Remove ads” are stored only on your device; we do not receive them. They are deleted when you delete the app.

Advertising (Unity LevelPlay)

Parkdoku shows ads from our ad partner Unity Ads, through Unity’s LevelPlay mediation service: ads between levels, and optional rewarded videos for a hint or to skip a level, which you start yourself. To show and measure ads, our partners may use your device’s identifiers and store information on your device. This can include:

  • your device’s advertising identifier: on iOS the IDFA, only if you allow tracking in the App Tracking Transparency prompt; on Android the Android advertising ID;
  • your IP address, from which an approximate location (country or region, not GPS) can be derived;
  • information about your device and the app, such as model, operating system, language and app version;
  • your interactions with ads, such as an ad being shown, tapped or watched to the end.

Our partners use this information to show ads, to limit how often you see the same ad, to measure how ads perform and to prevent fraud.

Whether ads are personalised depends on your choices. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, ads are personalised only if you agree in the consent form. On iOS, your advertising identifier is used only if you allow tracking. On Android in other countries, ads may be personalised using your Android advertising ID, which you can reset or delete in your device settings. If ads are not personalised, you still see them, and the game plays the same.

Our partners explain how they use this information in their own privacy policies: Unity and Unity LevelPlay.

Install measurement (Meta)

Parkdoku uses the Meta (Facebook) SDK to find out whether an install or an app open came from one of our ads on Facebook or Instagram, and to measure how those ad campaigns perform. The SDK can send Meta:

  • app events: the install, opening the app, and game events such as completing a level;
  • your device’s advertising identifier: on iOS the IDFA, only if you allow tracking (otherwise it is not used); on Android the Android advertising ID;
  • your IP address;
  • information about your device and the app, such as model, operating system, language and app version.

Parkdoku has no Facebook login: it does not ask for or send your name, email address or Facebook account. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, these events are sent only if you agree in the consent form. The “Share anonymous analytics” switch in Settings turns them off too, and on Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings. Meta processes this information under its own Privacy Policy.

Your choices in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland (GDPR)

  • Consent form: before any ad is requested, Parkdoku shows a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform, a consent management platform registered with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF). Your answer is stored on your device as a TCF consent string and passed to our ad partners. Google processes data to show the form: see the Google Privacy Policy.
  • If you refuse: you still see ads, but they are not personalised, and the game plays the same.
  • Analytics: Firebase Analytics follows your choices in the form unless you change the “Share anonymous analytics” switch yourself. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics) are sent either way.
  • Install measurement: the Meta SDK sends its events only if you agree in the form.
  • iPhone tracking prompt: if you refuse personalised ads, Parkdoku does not ask iOS for permission to track you.
  • Changing your mind: at any time, in Settings → “Privacy options”.

The iPhone tracking prompt

On iPhone, Parkdoku does not ask for tracking permission when it starts. After you have solved two levels (or earlier, when you ask for an optional rewarded video), a short screen explains why we ask, and then iOS asks whether Parkdoku may track you (App Tracking Transparency). It asks once. Every feature works whatever you answer, and you can change your answer later in your iPhone’s Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Analytics and crash reports (Firebase)

  • Firebase Analytics: anonymous usage events, such as starting, finishing, failing or skipping a level, using a hint, ads shown and purchase events (no payment details), together with your device type, operating system and app version, a country derived from your IP address and a random app instance ID. On iOS, Analytics has no access to the advertising identifier; on Android, its collection of the advertising ID is turned off.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: crash logs, your device model, operating system and app version, and a random installation ID.
  • Firebase Remote Config: an installation ID, used to download a few game settings, such as the number of free hints.

This tells us which levels feel too hard and helps us fix crashes. Outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Firebase Analytics is on by default. Everywhere, you can switch it off in Settings → “Share anonymous analytics”; it stops immediately. We never sell analytics data, and it is never used to personalise ads.

Firebase is a Google service: see the Google Privacy Policy and Privacy and Security in Firebase.

Purchases

“Remove ads” is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play payment system. We never see your card details; we only receive confirmation that the purchase was made, so that the game can turn off the ads between levels. Optional rewarded videos stay available after the purchase.

When you contact us

If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply to you. “Report an ad” in Settings opens an email to us that is already filled in with the app version, your platform and details of the last ad you saw, so that we can find that ad. You can edit it before sending.

Legal bases

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK), we rely on:

  • Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a); KVKK Art. 5(1)): personalised ads and ad measurement using your device’s storage in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, through the consent form; analytics and Meta install measurement where the form asks for it; tracking on iOS, through App Tracking Transparency.
  • Legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f); KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)): crash reports; non-personalised ads, frequency capping and fraud prevention; anonymous analytics to improve the game and Meta install measurement of our ad campaigns, outside the EEA, the UK and Switzerland (you can turn both off in Settings → “Share anonymous analytics”); Remote Config to deliver game settings; and answering your support emails.
  • Performance of a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b); KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)): your purchases.

Transfers abroad

Our ad partners (Unity), Meta (install measurement) and Google (Firebase and the consent form) may process this information outside Türkiye and the EEA, for example in the United States. These providers make such transfers under standard contractual clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. For users in Türkiye, this transfer abroad is made in accordance with Article 9 of the KVKK. You can contact us for details of the safeguards used.

How long we keep data

  • Firebase Analytics: up to 14 months.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: 90 days.
  • Progress, settings and consent choices on your device: until you delete the app.
  • Ad partners and Meta: according to their own policies, linked above.
  • Support emails: up to 2 years after your request is resolved.

Your rights and choices

Under the KVKK (Article 11) and the GDPR, you can ask to access your data, to have it corrected or deleted, and you can object to its processing and withdraw your consent at any time. Under the GDPR, you can also ask us to restrict processing or to give you your data in a portable format. Parkdoku has no accounts, so we usually cannot link data to you: if you want us to look for it, tell us your device’s advertising ID or the app instance ID.

  • In the app: Settings → “Privacy options” (where the consent form applies), and the “Share anonymous analytics” switch, which also turns off Meta install measurement.
  • On iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • On Android: reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads).
  • By email: [email protected]. We answer within 30 days at the latest, free of charge.

If you believe we have handled your data unlawfully, you can complain to Türkiye’s Personal Data Protection Board (KVKK Kurulu) or, in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, to the data protection authority where you live.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app deletes everything stored on your device. To ask us to delete analytics or crash data linked to your device, write to [email protected]. For data held by our ad partner or Meta, use their privacy pages above or reset your advertising ID.

Children

Parkdoku is not directed at children: it is meant for players aged 13 and over, and we tell our ad partners that the app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal data, write to [email protected].

US state privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA)

We do not sell personal data for money. Sharing data with our ad partners and Meta for advertising may count as “sharing” under California and other US state laws. You can opt out of it in your device settings (turn off Tracking on iOS, or reset or delete your advertising ID on Android), through a privacy message if the game shows one in your state (Settings → “Privacy options”), or by writing to [email protected]. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the “Last updated” date above.
